Linux Mauritius

This is the new home of which has moved due to persistent hosting issues. The blog is edited by Amit Caleechurn, a certified Linux professional (RHCSA/RHCE/RHCSS/RHCDS/LPIC-1/CLA) who is passionate about Open Source. My technical experience and interest as a system architect focus primarily on Linux and Open Source software, preferably RHEL, CentOS and Fedora.

My favourite Open Source projects include Fedora, CentOS, Spacewalk, FreeIPA, 389DS, Samba, oVirt and Firefox. I am the Fedora Ambassador for Mauritius and maintain a custom spin (of Fedora)  for my company called SnowBird Linux.

In the past I have written about various Linux distributions, virtualization, performance tuning, system automation, security and high availability. I hope you enjoy the articles, feel free to share and distribute the content under the Creative Commons license.

You can read more about me if you’re interested @ the Fedora Project , Linkedin or follow me on Twitter .
