The SnowBird Linux Project has been rebooted. It’s been two and half years since I last released a version as I had taken a new challenge but with the sad state of repositories which enhance the standard release of Fedora, I’m at it again. The latest release is based on Fedora 24 with all the goodies [applications, desktop tweaks, multimedia and hardware support] without relying on RPMFusion thanks to the awesome work of Slaanesh. This guy rocks and I have to put it on record. The release is well tested and I’m using it for daily activities but there are a few quirks which do not in any way affect the stability/usability [cosmetics & Anaconda] which I plan to fix in due course. Fedora 24 is releasing tomorrow and I may well push out a release candidate for the community to test before releasing a Gold image.
